Dan Luethke started out this fall in Little Shop of Horrors as Orin Scrivello D.D.S (aka. The Dentist) and The Voice Not Unlike God's. Then he was in a regional premiere of Standing on Ceremony: The Gay Marriage Plays at The Blue Barn Theatre in Omaha, NE. Dan played Wallace Walker in the first vignette titled "The Revision" about agreeing on marriage vows. They have just finished a modern adaptation of Antigone written his our professor, Moira Magiameli, and Dan played Paul King (Polynices) and was a chorus member. Finally, Dan will be in Othello this summer with the Nebraska Shakespeare Festival. He is hoping to work with youth in the Shakespeare Festival’s educational arm at Camp Shakespeare. For next year, Dan is applying at the Rose Theatre for their Teaching Artist Fellowship and he hopes to stay in the Omaha area for a bit.
