What is the Book Fair?

The book fair is an annual event sponsored by St. Anne’s for the purposes of promoting the value of reading by students and parents alike, supporting a spirit of goodwill, and providing an opportunity to raise funds for our School.  We hope that St. Anne’s families, relatives, and friends will participate in this event!

Where is the Book Fair? 

The Book Fair will be at Barnes & Noble, located at 960 S. Colorado Blvd.
St. Anne’s benefits from the purchases made only at the Colorado Blvd. store.

What are the dates of Book Fair? 

This year the Book Fair occurs during four days, November 6-9. Family night kicks off Book Fair on Thursday night, November 6, from 5-8 p.m.  (This is a change from the school calendar which states 6-9 p.m.) 

How Does St. Anne’s Get Credit for My Purchases?

Just simply mention St. Anne’s at checkout.  We have simplified checkout this year.  Vouchers are no longer needed!

Can I use Barnes & Noble gift cards?

YES.  The use of Barnes & Noble gift cards is welcome.  They will be treated just like cash.  However, the purchase of gift cards will not apply.

What is Family Night?

Family Night (Thursday, November 6) officially kicks off the Book Fair.  From 5-8 p.m., families are encouraged to come and shop and enjoy each other’s company.  Guest authors will be on hand signing books. This year we will also have book readings by teachers and parents.  Light refreshments will be served.

How do I buy a gift for my teacher or St. Anne’s staff?

The faculty and staff “wish lists” of books for families to purchase for them will be set up on a separate table in the children’s section during Family Night.  You may purchase them that evening and take them home with you.  If you are not able to make it to Family Night and wish to purchase a wish list book, the list will be available at the B & N customer service desk.  If the title is out-of-stock, you can do a special order at customer service and B & N can send the book to you or the teacher or the book can be made available for pick up at B & N.

Another option is simply buying a Barnes & Noble gift card and giving it to your teacher for use during the event.

Will there be a library wish list? 

Each year the school library compiles a “wish list” of books for families to purchase as a donation to the school library.  These titles will be available on a table in the children’s section during Family Night. Once purchased, they can be left at checkout and the school will take them that evening. They will not be available for purchase after Family Night.

Can we use our Barnes & Noble membership? 

Yes.  If you want to use your B & N Membership, you will receive the membership discount on your total purchase.  Your total purchase amount is what counts towards our school total.

Does St. Anne’s receive credit for all purchases made in the store? 

Yes.  Everything in the store counts.  Books, music, games, magazines, etc.  The purchase of music is paid for separately in the music area .  St. Anne’s will NOT receive credit for purchases made at Starbuck’s and Game Stop (which are connected to the store).

Can non St. Anne’s families shop during the Book Fair with St. Anne’s receiving credit for their purchases?

Yes.  Please encourage family and friends to shop at the Colorado Blvd. B & N during  the Book Fair and ask them to mention St. Anne’s at checkout so that we can receive credit.
