ST ANNE'S PARENTS ASSOCIATION

DESCRIPTION OF BOARD POSITIONS

President
Serves as head of Parents’ Association Executive Committee and as liaison between the Parents’ Association and St. Anne’s Administration.

President-Elect
The job is to shadow the President of the PA.  The President-Elect should give support to the current President for all events, making notes of various calendar duties and learn the ropes for the following year.

Secretary
Serves as the record-keeper and distributes information to members of the Parents’ Association Executive Committee.

Treasurer
To maintain the finances of the St. Anne’s Parents’ Association.

Immediate Past President
Provides experience to the PA Board knowing the history and procedures from several years’ experience.

Fundraising Vice President
The VPs of Fundraising oversee the school fundraising activites/events during the school year.  The Fundraising VPs work in conjunction with the community and the PA Board to make each event successful from a volunteer, community enhancement and a financial perspective.

Hospitality Vice President
To coordinate and assist in providing food and beverages for the following events:  New Parent Reception, Opening Day Coffee, Grandparents’ Day, Faculty Appreciation, Cultural Arts Faire, and May Day.

In-School Volunteers Vice President
To provide strategic and budgetary direction, general oversight and assistance to the chair people and committees who are involved with In-School Volunteers activities.

Communications Vice President
Produces and distributes four issues of the school newsletter (Fall, Winter, Wpring and Summer) and attends all Diversity Committee meetings as the PA representative.

Public Relations & Technology Vice President
Oversees all public relations for the Parents' Association's programs and events. Acts as a liaison between each event co-chair and the school's Director of Technology and Communication. Ensures that the St. Anne's website has up-to-date information as it relates to the Parents' Association.

Faculty Liaison
A faculty representation who acts as the liaison between the PA Board and the St. Anne’s School.
