FINANCIAL AID

Each year St. Anne’s Episcopal School strives to provide tuition assistance to new and current families who demonstrate financial need.  Any student currently enrolled at St. Anne’s or any candidate for admission is eligible to apply for tuition assistance.  In 2016-2017 the school provided over $1.2 million in tuition assistance to 22% of the student body.

The school partners with School and Student Services (SSS) by NAIS in our financial aid process. SSS processes financial aid applications and makes recommendations to the school. The school’s Financial Aid Committee examines those recommendations and then makes decisions regarding families’ eligibility for assistance.  The Committee balances two factors in considering requests for financial aid: each family’s financial need and the school’s ability to grant assistance while remaining within its budget.

In an effort to allocate funds in a timely manner, the Financial Aid Committee has established certain application deadlines and requirements. Applicants for tuition assistance should observe the following guidelines carefully:

1.     Go to the SSS website at sssbynais.org/parents. Click on the green “Complete or Update Your PFS” button to enter PFS Online. If you are using the website for the first time, you will need to create an account.

2.     Begin a PFS for Academic Year 2018-2019.  You can log out of the PFS Online at any time and then return later to complete your PFS. In completing your application, you will need to use the St. Anne’s school code: 6311Note that you must complete and submit the PFS by February 5, 2018.

3.     Pay for and submit your PFS.  Once you have paid the non-refundable fee and submitted your PFS, the school will instantly receive your information. Note that SSS or the school may waive the fees for qualifying families.

4.     Submit the following materials to the Financial Aid Committee (c/o of the Admissions Office) by February 5, 2018:
a) a copy of your 2016 (2017, if possible) tax return
b) a copy of your 2017 W-2 form(s)

Please do not upload documents to SSS.

Families applying to St. Anne’s for the first time will learn of their financial aid status at the time that they are notified of their students’ enrollment status. Current St. Anne’s families will learn of their financial aid status by early March.

Contact the Director of Admissions and Financial Aid if you have any questions regarding the financial aid process.
