Our Neighborhood

St. Anne’s has proudly served students and families on this campus since 1950.  As such, life in this area includes the daily rhythms of a vibrant school community. We know that our activities affect nearby residents during the school year, and this page is meant to keep you informed and up to date. Thank you for choosing to be part of a neighborhood with a school at its heart. We look forward to continuing open communication as good neighbors.

  • All staff working carline are required to wear safety vests for visibility.
  • St. Anne's is in communication regularly with the Police Department, our Councilman, and our local Neighborhood Association to maintain open, effective, and cordial communications with all stakeholders.
  • All parents of St. Anne's students receive carline protocol, which includes the logistics of picking up and dropping off their children, etiquette expectations, and ways they can positively impact emissions output, traffic, and pedestrian safety while in carline.
  • As of December 2024, St. Anne's reallocated 15 families' pickup location from the West Gate to the South Gate to more evenly distribute the number of cars affecting both roadways.
  • St. Anne's, the Neighborhood Association, the Denver Police Department, and our Councilman's office recently attended a mediated session to work on best practices for the carline process, and all parties have agreed to keep working on managing the ongoing process and relationships.
