A Connected Vision:

The Portrait of a Graduate and the Portrait of a Teacher

At St. Anne’s, our community is guided by a shared vision of growth, purpose, and belonging. This vision is embodied in two complementary frameworks: the Portrait of a Graduate and the Portrait of a Teacher. These two portraits—intentionally designed as a diptych—reflect the deeply interwoven relationship between the journey of the learner and the craft of the educator.

Our Portrait of a St. Anne's Graduate defines the essential qualities and values we seek to cultivate in every student: empathy, resilience, integrity, and a sense of purpose rooted in service and community. Graduates of St. Anne’s emerge as humble, inclusive, and morally grounded individuals who think critically and creatively, advocate courageously, and maintain joy and balance in their lives.

Our Portrait of a St. Anne’s Teacher, completed in the Spring of 2025 and as part of Pillar 4: Honor the Profession and Craft of Teaching in our Strategic Plan, articulates the character and commitments of the exceptional educators at the heart of our school. Guided by the founding values of the Sisters of St. Anne’s, our teachers are deeply relational, intellectually curious, and professionally dedicated. They nurture each child’s potential, foster inquiry and discovery, collaborate with families, and model the humility, leadership, and compassion we hope to see in our graduates.

Teachers and students alike are part of a shared journey—bound by a common set of values and a mutual commitment to growth, balance, and service. By investing in our faculty's professional development, holistic support, and collaborative spirit, we ensure that our students are guided by role models who inspire and equip them to become the thoughtful, engaged citizens our world needs.

Together, these portraits articulate who we are, what we value, and what we strive to become—as individuals and as a community.
